"Safe & Strong" Summer Series

This summer, we’re bringing life-saving training and personal empowerment straight to the heart of Milwaukee neighborhoods.

The Safe & Strong Summer Series is a free, family-friendly community initiative offering hands-on emergency response training, trauma care education, and self-defense instruction in Milwaukee Promise Zone parks. Designed to equip residents with real-world skills, this monthly series blends health, safety, and healing into a powerful experience for all ages 16+.

Participants will learn:

  • CPR & First Aid (2-year AHA certification)
  • Traumatic Hemorrhage Control (Stop the Bleed)
  • Narcan Administration Overview
  • Self-Defense & Personal Protection (with MK Protection Strategies)
  • 9-1-1 for Kids® youth emergency awareness

Each training includes lunch, resource tables, and giveaways — all in a safe, supportive, and welcoming outdoor environment.

Event dates are coming soon! We’ll be rotating through Milwaukee Promise Zone parks from May through August, and we encourage you to check back regularly as specific dates and park locations are confirmed.

🎯 Want to get involved or stay in the loop? Complete the Reach Out and Make a Difference form on our website to express your interest.
